Also, the reason my sidebar got messed up was that I attempted to add this to the sidebar:
And it (the resulting image) was too wide.
That's not actually an image, that's an iframe (I think). I've learned that it's better to be a minimalist with the sidebar; not only does it make your site better viewable on a variety of platforms, but it cuts down on the load time (which, for your blog, is too high - I'd suggest you trim down the number of pictures).
