Could you expand on "We make God in our own image." Kapic touched on this last night and I agreed, but I'd like to know more of how you see it.
What I mean, in this case, is that we emphasize the attributes of God's character that are easiest for us to grasp. Theonomists emphasize justice, righteousness, holiness; others emphasize God's intimate relationship with His people, His self-sacrifice. Both need to be held together to have an accurate picture.
