It's funny how messaging systems are geographic for me. The CoSpgs have AIM, the Covenant people have Google Talk, and the Canadians all have MSN...

Of course there are those rare few like Carrie who have all three...

Fortunately Adium correlates them all into one buddy system. Did you know that the PC client Trillian does not include google talk in it's basic design? You have to upgrade ($$) to TrillianPro to get your google talk buddies online. All the more reason to own a mac I say. Sure it might be a bit more expensive at the outset, but I have 1) a built-in video camera/microphone, 2) Garageband, 3) Adium-that-lets-me-use-Google-Talk. These perhaps are mere conveniences, but I surely enjoy them.
